Design the Future of Virginia's Transportation with RDA Rinker Design Associates, LLC (RDA) is seeking a motivated Roadway Engineer (Technical Lead) to join our growing Transportation team. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys roadway design and is looking to take the next step into technical leadership and mentoring. You'll have the opportunity to work on impactful transportation projects throughout Virginia while helping develop junior engineers and contributing to the growth of RDA's presence in the region.
💥 $5K-$10K Sign-On Bonus 💥 Design transportation infrastructure: Develop roadway designs, plan sets, and supporting documentation for VDOT and local agency projects. Requirements
Collaborate across teams: Work closely with engineers, planners, clients, and project stakeholders to deliver successful projects. Responsibilities
Support a growing office: Help strengthen RDA's mentoring capacity as the team continues to expand. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field. 4-6 years of transportation engineering, roadway engineering, or related experience.
Virginia PE license or EIT with the ability to obtain PE licensure within one year. Familiarity with VDOT standards and project delivery processes preferred. Experience with OpenRoads Designer and/or MicroStation required.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Interest in mentoring and developing junior staff. We offer a comprehensive
