About this role

Anaplan is looking for a Systems Engineer II to manage identity, collaboration, and cloud infrastructure across a global enterprise relying on Okta, Microsoft 365, and Slack. You'd own the full lifecycle of these platforms—from SSO and MFA configuration through automated user provisioning, endpoint management via Intune, and Slack workspace governance. The role demands strong hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting and API integrations to automate joiner/mover/leaver workflows and connect disparate systems, while serving as a Tier 2/3 escalation point for complex incidents and maintaining operational runbooks and monitoring.

This is a solid fit if you have 3–5+ years administering enterprise SaaS and cloud environments, with proven depth in Okta (especially SCIM provisioning and Okta Workflows), Microsoft Entra ID and Intune, and Slack administration. You'll need strong scripting chops, familiarity with modern authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC), and experience managing ticket queues and incident triage. A computer science or IT degree is expected, though equivalent hands-on experience counts.

The hybrid schedule requires two days per week in the Reston, Virginia office. Salary ranges from $106,000 to $152,000. Okta or Microsoft certifications, plus any exposure to AI tooling and advanced IAM governance, would strengthen your candidacy.
