Part Time In-Home Caregiver – Bradenton, FL
A welcoming family in Bradenton, FL is seeking a compassionate, reliable caregiver to provide morning care and companionship for a 64-year-old adult family member. This position is located in a smoke-free home with two dogs.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- 25 hours per week

Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and maintaining a feeding tube (PEG tube)

- Light mobility and transfer assistance
- Preparation of light comfort foods/snacks
- Light housekeeping related to daily care
- Companionship and engagement in shared interests (movies, music, soap operas)
Requirements:
- Experience with feeding tube (PEG tube) care and maintenance
- Prior caregiving experience providing personal hygiene and incontinence care
- Experience with light mobility and transfer assistance
- Comfortable working in a home with dogs
Compensation:
- $18–$22 per hour

About this role
Wellthy Care Network is connecting caregivers with a private family in Bradenton seeking morning support for a 64-year-old adult. The role centers on hands-on personal care—including PEG tube management, hygiene assistance, incontinence care, and light mobility support—paired with genuine companionship around the care recipient's interests in movies, music, and television. The household is smoke-free and includes two dogs, so comfort in that environment is essential.
This is a 25-hour-per-week position, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to noon, paying $18–$22 per hour. You'll need demonstrated experience with feeding tube care, personal hygiene and incontinence support, and safe transfer techniques. Beyond the medical and physical tasks, the family values a patient, engaging presence—someone who can share in activities the care recipient enjoys and provide meaningful daily interaction.
Note that this is a direct hire by the family, not an employment relationship with Wellthy itself. Wellthy facilitates the connection but the family manages the hiring and employment terms.
Pay for this role
