What You'll Do:
- Prepare month-end journal entries, supporting schedules, and reconciliations related to Revenue, AR, and Payable related accounts
- Collaborate with other departments to support the business and needs of the Finance team, (specifically Engineering and FinTech Depts.)
- Assist in the preparation of supporting documentation for statutory audits, quarterly reviews, and annual audits performed by external auditors
- Working with large data sets that require power query and other advanced analytic tools
- Support Ad-hoc projects as necessary
What You've Done:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (accounting, finance, economics etc.)
- 2+ years audit experience with public accounting firm
- Advanced excel skills and ability to manipulate large data sets (Xlookups, Pivot tables, Power Query, etc.)
- Strong aptitude for identifying and implementing process improvements
- Highly adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
- Exceptional organization and prioritization skills with the ability to meet deadlines and keep track of multiple projects
- Ability to adapt quickly and operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-intensity and rapidly evolving environment; with a desire to learn new areas of the business
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Great to have:
- 2+ years audit experience with public accounting firm or other relevant experience such as Big 4 Experience
- Mix of Public/Private experience
- NetSuite Experience Basic proficiency with SQL
- Experience in the FinTech industry and working with Payment Service Providers (PSPs)

The anticipated gross base pay range is below for this role. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub’s total compensation and competitive benefits package, which includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.

You'd own month-end close activities for revenue, accounts receivable, and payables while working closely with Engineering and FinTech teams to ensure accounting keeps pace with the business.
