About this role
Hunter Douglas seeks an experienced procurement leader to manage global freight and logistics sourcing across multiple transportation modes—parcel, LTL, truckload, ocean, air, rail, and 3PL services. Based in Atlanta and reporting into Global Procurement, you'll drive strategic sourcing initiatives primarily for North America while collaborating with regional teams across EMEA, LATAM, and APAC. The role centers on developing sourcing strategies, running competitive bidding events, negotiating supplier contracts, and analyzing transportation spend to unlock cost savings and network efficiencies that directly support company supply chain objectives.
You'll need at least five years in procurement, supply chain, or logistics, with a minimum of three years specifically in transportation or logistics procurement. The position demands strong financial acumen—building business cases, modeling scenarios, and interpreting shipment data—paired with proficiency in Excel, e-sourcing platforms, and market intelligence tools like Xeneta and DAT. Success requires the ability to influence cross-functional teams (Logistics, Operations, Sales, Finance, Legal) through data-driven recommendations and manage complex supplier relationships across geographically dispersed networks.
This is a contract role offering $122,000–$145,000 base salary plus a 25–35% bonus target, with a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid parental leave, and flexible time off. The in-office Atlanta location suits someone ready to drive measurable impact on a global supply chain operation within a 100-year-old industry leader.
