About this role
Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for a seasoned DevSecOps Engineer to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle at their San Antonio office. You'd own the security posture of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure, working primarily with GitLab, Kubernetes, Docker, and tools like Terraform and Ansible. The role demands deep expertise across the full stack—from secrets management with Vault and SOPS, to vulnerability scanning with SonarQube and Prisma Cloud, to container orchestration on Red Hat Enterprise Linux. You'll collaborate with development teams to harden applications, advise on security best practices, and solve complex security challenges for customers whose products depend on your work.
This position requires 12+ years of hands-on DevSecOps experience, with proven mastery of Linux, containerization, and CI/CD implementation. You'll need solid working knowledge of IaC tools, artifact repositories, monitoring platforms, and security scanning technologies—essentially the full modern DevSecOps toolkit. An active Secret security clearance and US citizenship are mandatory. Programming familiarity (Python, Go, Bash) and database knowledge round out the desired profile, though the emphasis is on infrastructure security and pipeline hardening rather than application development.
The role is full-time, in-office, and compensated at $155,000–$185,000 based on experience. This is a direct hire position; Dark Wolf does not work with staffing agencies or contract arrangements.
