Description
Hubble Network was founded with the intention of delivering on the promise of what Internet-of-Things (IoT) was supposed to be. We're building a global Bluetooth® network dedicated to machine-to-machine connectivity. We differentiate ourselves as the first modem-less and gateway-less, direct-to-satellite network from off-the-shelf Bluetooth® Low Energy chips. Hubble is ideal for applications in logistics, AgTech, and maritime where economies of scale for volume consumer and enterprise asset tracking is a priority. Our goal is to be the first billion-endpoint-connected network in the world.
Hubble is an early-stage, venture-backed startup supported by some of the best investors in the world. In their previous lives, the founding team has been successful in raising $100s of millions in venture funding, developing the Amazon Sidewalk network, launching billions of dollars of space assets, and leading their teams to successful exits, both through acquisition and IPO. We are now looking to bring on talented team members who are the best at what they do to help us make Hubble a reality for the world.
This is an onsite, full-time position based in Seattle, WA.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an Inventory Control Technician to help lead execution across Hubble’s hardware teams — including our satellite constellation. This role is about owning the “why” and the “what” of what we build, driving clarity and momentum across engineering, design, and customer teams. You’ll work closely with leaders across RF hardware, mechanical engineering and R&D to translate schedule goals into clear deliverables. This is a hands-on role for a builder — someone who can move between technical detail, customer insight, and company strategy without losing momentum.

- A Sense of Urgency: Lead projects from concept to reality, rapidly and effectively
- First Principles Engineering: Have a strong understanding of the whys behind the whats; have the ability to extrapolate from first principles to complex system design
- High Learning Agility: Love to learn; have a grounded approach to recognizing your weaknesses and take the initiative to brush up on and sharpen your engineering foundations to better collaborate with your teammates with different backgrounds
- System-Level Design and Analysis: Understand the requirements flow down process and be able to quickly iterate on evolving requirements
- Excellent Communication Skills: Effectively convey ideas and communicate technical topics with engineering, build staff, and operations; run self-directed design reviews and participate in reviews of parallel systems
- Anticipation of Needs: Identify problems, think creatively, and rapidly produce reliable and cost-effective solutions to meet the ever growing and changing needs of an early-stage company

- Perform pick-and-assemble operations to create component kits, ensuring all parts are available, correctly identified, and properly accounted for within the kit.
- Comfortable reading engineering drawings, BOMs, or part documentation to verify materials against spec
- Working knowledge of cycle counting, lot/serial traceability, and inventory accuracy practices
- Ability to lift/move 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Forklift or powered industrial truck certification (or ability to obtain one), if material handling equipment is used
STRONGLY DESIRED
- Previous experience with Jira Service Management (JSM) and Supply Chain Management systems (ERP)
- Experience identifying or supporting cost-saving opportunities in inventory or materials handling processes
- Understanding of how program schedules, build pace, and inventory depletion rates inform material replenishment needs

About this role
Hubble Network is building a global satellite-based Bluetooth network for IoT connectivity, and this role sits at a critical juncture between hardware engineering and operations. As Inventory Control Technician, you'll manage the flow of raw materials, components, and parts that feed the company's satellite constellation and hardware teams. This means receiving and storing inventory, performing cycle counts and lot tracking, creating component kits from BOMs, and ensuring strict material handling protocols—especially for space-grade electronics and composites. You'll work on-site in Seattle in a hands-on capacity, translating engineering schedules into clear material needs and identifying cost-saving opportunities in how inventory depletes and gets replenished.
The ideal candidate has 2–3+ years in inventory control, warehouse operations, or materials handling, with comfort reading engineering documentation and familiarity with systems like Jira Service Management and ERP platforms. Experience with mechanical and electrical components, forklift certification (or willingness to obtain it), and the ability to lift 25 pounds regularly are baseline requirements. What will set you apart is understanding how program schedules drive material needs, recognizing inefficiencies, and communicating clearly across engineering, build staff, and operations teams.
This is an early-stage venture-backed startup with a founding team that has successfully scaled networks and space programs before. The salary range is $70,000–$140,000 based on experience, with comprehensive health benefits, unlimited PTO, commuter benefits, and a learning allowance included.
