About this role
EOS IT Solutions is looking for an experienced leader to own data center infrastructure deployments at scale. In this role, you'll oversee the full lifecycle of complex projects—from new builds and capacity expansions to hardware refreshes and migrations—across enterprise, hyperscale, and colocation environments. You'll manage on-site execution, conduct quality assurance, troubleshoot technical issues, and serve as the central point of contact between your field team, project managers, engineers, and external stakeholders.
The position demands someone with at least five years delivering infrastructure or implementation projects who understands data center operations deeply: rack integration, cabling, networking, power, cooling, and physical infrastructure. You'll need to juggle multiple concurrent projects in high-pressure environments, lead cross-functional teams including external vendors, and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and compliance standards. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to make sound technical decisions under pressure.
If you hold a project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile) or have specific experience with hyperscale deployments, change management, or tools like Jira and Smartsheet, that experience is valued. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
