About this role

Loenbro's Project Manager (Electrical) role oversees industrial construction projects from inception through closeout across sectors including high tech, mining, and oil and gas. You'll lead teams of Project Engineers, Field Engineers, Superintendents, and Foremen while managing labor, equipment, and subcontractor coordination to keep projects on schedule and within budget. The position demands hands-on involvement in quality verification, safety compliance, and daily employee supervision—this is active project leadership, not desk management.

You'll need at least three years of industrial construction experience and a minimum of two years as an electrical project manager, ideally backed by an engineering or construction management degree. Familiarity with industry software like HCSS Heavy Job, P6, Viewpoint, and Heavy Bid is preferred. The role requires extensive travel (75% or more) and the ability to work in challenging environments: extreme temperatures, confined spaces, high noise levels, and limited visibility. You must pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol testing and maintain a clean driving record.

Based in Omaha and working on-site full-time, this position reports to a Project Executive and offers competitive salary, comprehensive health coverage, 401(k) matching, PTO, and professional development opportunities. The work is physically and logistically demanding but suits someone with solid project management credentials who thrives coordinating complex industrial operations and leading field teams.
