About this role

Lab37 Robotics is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician with HVAC expertise to support operations at their Pittsburgh facility. You'll split your time between hands-on facility maintenance—drywall repairs, painting, structural work, and preventative maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems—and warehouse operations, including material handling, equipment movement, and building custom crates for shipment. The role requires you to be proactive about identifying and resolving facility issues while collaborating closely with engineering and operations teams to keep the site running smoothly.

To succeed here, you'll need at least three years of commercial or industrial maintenance experience, working knowledge of HVAC systems, and EPA Universal and Forklift certifications (or the ability to obtain them). You should be comfortable with hand and power tools, capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, and able to work at heights. The company values self-starters who take initiative during downtime and communicate clearly with colleagues across departments.

Lab37 offers $40–$50 per hour plus full benefits including medical, dental, vision coverage, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off. This is a full-time, on-site position in a dynamic warehouse and tech facility environment with potential for overtime.
