About this role
Pediatric Dental OKC, part of Specialty Dental Brands, is looking for a Dental Assistant to support their pediatric team in Oklahoma City. You'll work chairside with dentists during exams and procedures—fillings, crowns, sealants, and sedation appointments—while also managing treatment room setup, X-rays, sterilization, and patient records. The role demands both clinical competence and genuine comfort around children; you'll help young patients feel at ease through calm communication and reassurance while keeping the operatory running smoothly alongside hygienists and front office staff.
Success in this position hinges on reliability, attention to detail, and patience. You should be comfortable with OSHA and HIPAA compliance, instrument sterilization, and inventory management. While prior dental assisting experience and pediatric exposure are preferred, what matters most is your ability to stay positive and flexible in a fast-paced environment and to understand that each interaction shapes how children view dental care long-term.
Specialty Dental Brands offers medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k), paid holidays, and paid time off. The role is full-time and in-office, with opportunities for continued professional development within an established pediatric practice.
