About this role
Paratek Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Specialty Sales Representative to build and execute a territory-based sales strategy across the Orlando North area, focusing primarily on primary care physicians and podiatrists, with secondary outreach to dermatologists. You'll be responsible for designing a data-driven business plan, delivering clinically focused messaging, and managing the full sales cycle—from one-on-one physician meetings and group presentations to sample distribution and call reporting. Success means consistently hitting territory and product sales goals while maintaining compliance with company policies and PDMA guidelines.
This role demands 2–4 years of pharmaceutical or medical sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding territory targets. You'll need to understand disease states and treatment pathways well enough to present complex scientific information persuasively, and ideally you'll have prior experience launching new products or calling on infectious disease, critical care, or wound care settings. Strong CRM proficiency, consultative selling skills, and the ability to work across multiple communication channels—virtual and face-to-face—are essential.
The position requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and willingness to travel as needed, including overnight trips. You'll report to a Regional Business Director, collaborate closely with your sales team, and attend national and regional training sessions and conventions. Familiarity with specialty pharmacy workflows and the antibacterial or infectious disease space is preferred but not required.
