About this role
Truckstop is looking for an experienced Account Executive to lead high-value sales cycles in broker factoring—a senior individual contributor role that blends consultative selling with strategic account ownership. You'd own revenue targets by managing complex deals involving multiple stakeholders, custom pricing, and operational dependencies across the freight and logistics space. The position requires you to deliver product demonstrations, travel regularly to customer sites and industry events, and maintain disciplined pipeline management in Salesforce.
Beyond closing deals, you'd serve as a trusted resource to the broader sales team and Director of Factoring, guiding colleagues through complex scenarios and supporting onboarding of new Account Executives. When needed, you'd provide interim leadership support to ensure continuity on active deals and customer interactions. This role demands strong judgment, relationship-building skills, and the ability to influence outcomes across both customers and peers.
You'll need at least five years in factoring or logistics, proven ability to communicate software value to business stakeholders, and skill in uncovering customer needs through probing questions and objection handling. A bachelor's degree is preferred, and familiarity with Salesforce is a plus. Success here depends on customer focus, learning agility, collaboration, communication, and resilience—traits that matter as much as sales acumen in this consultative environment.
