About this role

Paratek Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Specialty Sales Representative to build and execute a territory-based sales strategy across the Indianapolis South region, focusing primarily on primary care physicians and podiatrists with secondary outreach to dermatologists. You'll be responsible for designing a data-driven business plan, delivering clinically focused messaging, and managing the full sales cycle—from one-on-one physician meetings and group presentations to sample distribution and call reporting. Success means consistently hitting territory and product sales goals while maintaining compliance with company policies and PDMA guidelines.

This role demands 2–4 years of pharmaceutical or medical sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding territory performance goals. You'll need strong clinical knowledge to articulate complex scientific information about disease states and treatment pathways, along with consultative selling skills and experience executing office calls in specialty settings. Experience in infectious disease, critical care, podiatry, or wound care is strongly preferred, as is familiarity with specialty pharmacy channels and the antibacterial/infectious disease space. You should be proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and comfortable with both virtual and face-to-face selling across multiple communication channels.

The position requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and willingness to travel as needed, including overnight trips. You'll report to the Regional Business Director and work collaboratively with your region's sales team while attending national and regional training sessions and conventions.
