About this role
InterSystems' Facilities Team manages operations across a 360,000-square-foot Class A office space at the company's Boston headquarters, and this role sits at the center of that coordination. Reporting to the Facilities Supervisor, you would handle the full spectrum of facility requests and maintenance—from daily inspections and work-order management to vendor coordination, contract oversight, and documentation. The position requires someone comfortable moving between tactical problem-solving (resolving maintenance issues with contractors and building management) and strategic planning (budgeting, cost analysis, and facility projects including office moves and renovations).
The ideal candidate brings five or more years in commercial property or facilities management, with working knowledge of building systems like HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. You'll need strong organizational and communication skills to serve as a point of contact across departments, vendors, and senior leadership, plus proficiency in Excel and Word. The role demands flexibility—including potential weekend hours—and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. A valid Massachusetts driver's license is required. While a bachelor's degree is preferred, the emphasis is on hands-on experience and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time, in-office position in Boston with a salary range of $44,000 to $67,000 annually, plus benefits including medical and dental coverage, 401(k) with profit sharing, paid time off, parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
