About this role
Yuno Energy's Forward Trading Department is seeking an experienced energy professional to lead its Residential Pricing team in Dublin. You'll own the pricing strategy and profitability of the residential portfolio, managing a team of analysts while bridging commodity markets, demand forecasting, hedging, and risk management. The role demands someone who can move fluidly between strategic thinking—designing next-generation tariffs and conducting market analysis—and hands-on execution, from pricing individual customer contracts to optimizing internal tools and systems.
This position suits candidates with at least four years in energy pricing or P&L forecasting who combine strong quantitative skills (Python, SQL, Power BI, Excel) with deep knowledge of wholesale energy markets and the Irish market specifically. You'll need to understand how commodity price movements, emerging technologies like heat pumps and EV charging, and distributed generation affect residential margins and customer offerings. The role values problem-solvers with ownership mentality and clear communication who can translate complex market dynamics into commercial decisions.
Yuno Energy is a fast-growing Dublin-based supplier that entered the Irish market in late 2023 and now serves over 350,000 customers. The hybrid arrangement, permanent contract, and €60,000–€80,000 salary (plus bonus and benefits including pension and health insurance) reflect a company investing in its team as it scales. This is a leadership role in a developing business rather than a maintenance position in an established operation.
