About this role

Loenbro is seeking an Electrical Estimator to join its Southeast operations, preparing detailed cost estimates for commercial electrical construction projects across a multi-state region. You'll analyze project drawings and specifications, perform quantity takeoffs, develop labor and material costs, solicit vendor quotes, and prepare comprehensive bid proposals. The role requires close collaboration with project managers, operations teams, subcontractors, and clients throughout the bidding and preconstruction phases, as well as support during project handoff and change order reviews.

This position demands at least three years of commercial electrical estimating experience, strong proficiency with construction drawings and specifications, and solid skills in Microsoft Office. You should be comfortable with mathematical analysis, detail-oriented work, and managing multiple bids under deadline pressure. Preferred qualifications include estimating software experience (Accubid, ConEst, Bluebeam, or similar), a background in construction management or engineering, field electrical experience, or an electrician's license. The role is based in Atlanta but serves a broader Southeast footprint, so occasional travel to project sites and customer meetings is expected.

The position is full-time and exempt, reporting to the Chief Estimator. Loenbro offers medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) with company match; paid time off; and professional development opportunities. You'll work primarily in an office environment with regular site visits and interaction across multiple teams and external partners.
