About this role

Outset Medical is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive growth across the Miami territory for Tablo, an FDA-cleared hemodialysis system that simplifies care delivery across hospitals, clinics, and home settings. This role combines account expansion with new business development—you'll deepen relationships with existing customers to unlock additional clinical applications and service lines while simultaneously identifying and pursuing strategic new accounts within your market.

The position demands someone comfortable navigating the complexity of healthcare sales. You'll work across multiple stakeholder groups—clinical, financial, operational, IT, and executive—to build compelling business cases and guide opportunities through lengthy buying cycles. Success requires strong consultative selling skills, the ability to manage territory strategy with disciplined forecasting, and genuine comfort with the relationship-building and problem-solving that healthcare purchasing demands. Travel up to 75% is expected.

You'll need at least five years of healthcare capital sales experience with a track record of growing existing accounts while winning new business. A bachelor's degree is required. The role offers particular appeal to candidates with deeper MedTech or healthcare IT background, experience in dialysis or kidney care markets, or a history of helping organizations adopt new technology. The position is based in Miami and requires in-office presence.
