About this role

Hobaica Services, a Phoenix-based HVAC and plumbing contractor established in 1952, is seeking an experienced Plumbing Installer to handle residential installation and repair work across the metropolitan area. You'd be responsible for installing, maintaining, and diagnosing issues with plumbing systems—including water heaters, water treatment systems, and tankless units—while ensuring safety standards for yourself, crews, and customer property. The role demands someone who can work independently with minimal supervision, communicate clearly with customers and team members, and maintain the company's standards on every job site.

The position requires two to four years of hands-on residential plumbing installation experience and a solid grasp of plumbing codes, materials, and techniques. You'll need strong problem-solving and time-management skills to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, along with a valid driver's license. The work is physically demanding—climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, moving materials up to 50 pounds, and regularly operating hand and power tools in outdoor conditions.

Compensation ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; a 401(k) with company match; paid time off; a fully equipped company vehicle with gas card; and company-issued technology. You'll be responsible for purchasing your own tools through the company's employee program with a repayment schedule.
