Historically, our core customer pipeline has consisted of churches, K-12 private schools, Christian higher education, and faith-based nonprofits. In recent years, we have grown to serve largely for-profit organizations of all sizes.

Our team is collaborative, intentional, and prioritized. We care deeply for our customers and passionately believe there is a better way for employees to receive health benefits from their organization. Learn more about who we are here!

About this role

Remodel Health's Product Team is building a health benefits platform that replaces one-size-fits-all insurance with individualized plans for employees and their families. As a Software Engineer here, you'd work across the full stack—React and Material UI on the frontend, .NET Core and SQL Server on the backend—while integrating third-party APIs and making architectural decisions that shape the product. You'd own code quality from conception through production, working within a lean team that values testing, learning, and collaboration in a growth-focused startup environment.

This role suits someone with at least two years of software experience who is comfortable writing and consuming REST APIs, has solid OOP fundamentals, and can work fluidly in both C# web services and JavaScript frameworks like React. You'll need strong communication skills to contribute meaningfully to technical direction alongside your teammates. The position is based in downtown Indianapolis with an in-office expectation four days per week and remote Fridays.

Remodel Health offers comprehensive health coverage, generous PTO, 401(k) matching, and sabbatical time after five years—benefits that reflect the company's mission-driven approach to serving organizations from churches and nonprofits to for-profit enterprises of all sizes.
