About this role

Fameccanica North America is looking for a Project Manager to oversee complex automation projects from contract through delivery in their West Chester, Ohio facility. You'll own the full project lifecycle—developing schedules in Microsoft Project, coordinating across engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, quality, and finance teams, tracking milestones and risks, and keeping customers informed of status and concerns. The role demands someone who can juggle multiple priorities, spot problems early, manage scope and budget changes thoughtfully, and communicate directly with both internal teams and external clients to ensure projects land on time and meet contractual expectations.

This position suits someone with several years managing cross-functional projects who has strong command of Microsoft Project and Excel, a structured approach to risk and problem-solving, and the confidence to drive accountability without constant oversight. A bachelor's degree in engineering, business, project management, or a related field is expected, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. Experience in industrial automation, manufacturing, or technical project environments is valued but not required; what matters more is your ability to ask the right questions, understand the bigger picture, and follow through on the details that keep complex work on track.

The role is full-time, in-office in Cincinnati, and involves approximately 15% travel. This is a good fit if you thrive coordinating moving parts, managing competing demands, and taking ownership of outcomes without needing constant direction.
