About this role
OpenTable is seeking an Account Executive to build its restaurant partner network in the Philadelphia area through consultative sales and strategic territory development. You'll spend significant time in the field—up to 60% travel—meeting with restaurateurs to demonstrate how OpenTable's reservation and management technology can drive their revenue and operational efficiency. The role combines prospecting and relationship building with data-driven sales execution: you'll map markets, deliver tailored product demos, negotiate commercial terms, and maintain a disciplined pipeline in Salesforce while hitting monthly and quarterly targets.
This position suits someone with at least three years of B2B sales experience who thrives in consultative, complex selling environments and can articulate ROI to skeptical buyers. You'll need strong Salesforce and analytical skills, comfort with Google Workspace, and the ability to translate customer feedback into insights for internal teams. Restaurant or hospitality technology experience is valued but not required; what matters more is a track record of exceeding targets in competitive markets and the communication skills to position yourself as a trusted market expert.
The hybrid setup offers flexibility to work remotely up to 20 days annually, and the total compensation package—$137,000 to $147,000 including uncapped commission—reflects the sales-driven nature of the role. OpenTable provides mental health support, generous time off including a company-wide recharge week, professional development dollars, and standard benefits. Note that this is listed as a volunteer position, which may warrant clarification before applying.
