About this role

Wilson Elser's Louisville office is seeking a General Liability Associate Attorney to join its defense litigation practice on a hybrid basis. You would manage cases across their full lifecycle—from strategy development through trial—handling discovery, depositions, motion practice, and client communication. The work spans general liability, premises liability, construction, transportation, and insurance-related claims, often in collaboration with attorneys across the firm's 46 offices nationwide.

The role calls for a Kentucky-licensed attorney with at least two years of defense litigation experience, ideally in the practice areas mentioned above. You'll need strong analytical, research, and communication skills to draft substantive motions and briefs, represent clients in court and mediation, and work effectively with senior attorneys, clients, and support staff to develop sound litigation strategy and drive cases toward resolution.

This is a full-time position at a top-100 national firm that emphasizes mentorship, professional development, and long-term career growth. The package includes competitive compensation, generous PTO, 401(k) matching, and comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage.
