About this role

Working in IMA's Executive Risk Solutions practice group, you'd handle the operational backbone of claims management—intake, documentation, submissions, and coordination between clients, insurers, and placement teams. The role involves managing timelines and follow-ups, building relationships with insurance carriers, and preparing communications that keep claims moving forward. You'd attend carrier events to represent IMA and strengthen underwriter relationships, all while supporting the team's commitment to client service and diversity.

This internship suits someone detail-oriented and organized who communicates clearly and stays composed under pressure. A bachelor's degree is required, along with strong Microsoft Office skills and a willingness to learn. Prior insurance claims experience is preferred but not essential—what matters more is your ability to manage multiple priorities, take initiative, and work collaboratively. The position is based in Denver and in-office, with a salary range of $45,000 to $60,000.
