About this role
The Perfect Workout is hiring entry-level personal trainers in Austin who are willing to invest in themselves and their clients. This is a part-time role where you'll learn to deliver strength training, coach members through workouts, and build relationships that drive retention—all with paid certification provided in-house. The compensation ranges from $7.25 to $23.38 per hour depending on base pay, commission, and bonuses. No prior experience is required; the company trains you from the ground up.
This role suits someone who genuinely wants to develop as a coach and isn't looking for a casual gym job. You'll need to show up consistently, embrace feedback, and stay motivated by both sales goals and the actual impact you have on members. The company emphasizes a culture of continuous improvement and candor, so you should be comfortable with direct coaching and willing to push yourself harder. Free personal training, career growth opportunities, and a supportive team environment are part of the package.
If you're driven by meaningful work rather than comfort, and you thrive when challenged to improve, this could be a strong fit. The part-time schedule allows flexibility, and after a year you'll have access to a 401(k) and supplemental medical benefits.
