About this role

Oscar Health's Talent Acquisition team is looking for an Executive Recruiter to own full-cycle searches at the VP level and above. You'd manage everything from sourcing and strategy development through offer negotiation, working closely with hiring managers and the Senior Director of Executive Recruiting. The role requires you to calibrate candidates, conduct pitch calls and on-site interviews, handle reference checks, and negotiate complex compensation packages—essentially serving as the primary driver for executive placements across designated functional areas.

This position calls for at least six years in executive recruiting, with a minimum of three years focused specifically on VP+ level searches. You'll also need project management experience and a track record of building and executing staffing strategies, plus the ability to pull data insights and advise leadership. The hybrid setup in New York requires three days in-office weekly, with Thursdays fixed for team meetings. The base salary ranges from $135,000 to $215,000, and you'll have access to performance bonuses, unlimited vacation, and standard benefits including parental leave and wellness reimbursements.

If you've worked in both agency and in-house recruiting, or have startup or healthcare recruiting experience, that's a plus. This role would suit someone who thrives managing complex searches independently while collaborating with senior leadership and wants to build recruiting strategy at a tech-forward health insurance company.
