About this role

Scale AI's Public Sector division is looking for an Executive Assistant in Washington, DC to manage the calendars, travel, and administrative operations for the General Manager and VP of Engineering, with broader support across the leadership team. You'd be the operational backbone for a fast-moving group, handling everything from complex scheduling and travel logistics to coordinating client meals, VIP visits, and internal events. The role demands someone who can read each executive's preferences quickly, work independently when needed, and pivot smoothly when priorities shift—all while managing confidential information and serving as a key contact for government officials, clients, and partners.

This position suits someone with at least seven years of executive assistant experience in a dynamic environment, ideally in tech or AI. You'll need strong organizational skills, fluency with office productivity tools, and genuine comfort building relationships with senior external stakeholders. The ability to adapt to multiple competing demands and manage budgets for team events rounds out the core requirements. Scale offers a competitive package: base salary between $136,000 and $170,000, equity compensation, comprehensive health and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a learning stipend, generous PTO, and a commuter stipend. The role is full-time and in-office in Washington, DC.
