About this role
Wiz is seeking a Commercial Counsel to support its rapid expansion across EMEA. This contract role is based in Amsterdam and requires an in-office presence. You'll serve as a legal business partner to the revenue teams, owning the full lifecycle of commercial agreements—from drafting and negotiation through execution and management. The work spans a broad range of contracts including SaaS agreements, professional services deals, partner arrangements, and data processing agreements, with a particular emphasis on privacy-focused negotiations.
To succeed, you need at least four years of in-house legal experience at a software or technology company, bar admission in Israel, the UK, or a European country, and fluency in English plus either French or German. The role demands strong contract drafting and negotiation skills, but equally important is a business-friendly mindset that prioritizes supporting deal velocity and growth. You'll work in a collaborative, relatively flat environment where you can operate independently while staying closely aligned with internal stakeholders and customers.
This opportunity suits someone who thrives in fast-paced settings, enjoys solving problems from multiple perspectives, and brings both legal rigor and practical judgment to complex commercial situations. Experience with data privacy, familiarity with tools like Salesforce and DocuSign, and comfort with contract lifecycle management systems are valued. Note that this position does not offer visa sponsorship, so you must already have the legal right to work in the Netherlands.
