About Us: Wettermark Keith is a rapidly growing national personal injury firm. We pride ourselves on our integrity, professionalism, and commitment to excellence. At Wettermark Keith, we understand that our work extends far beyond the courtroom. We engage with people during some of the most challenging times of their lives – moments filled with uncertainty, fear, and stress. Our clients come to us in the aftermath of tragic accidents, seeking not just legal representation, but a beacon of hope for their future.

Purpose: The Intake Specialist is the first and most critical point of contact for prospective clients. This role is sales-driven and focused on converting inbound leads into signed clients. Working closely with team leads and management, the Intake Specialist evaluates potential claims, builds rapport, overcomes objections, and confidently guides qualified individuals through the sign-up process.

This position requires strong closing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-based call center environment. Compassion, persistence, and follow-through are essential to successfully convert opportunities while delivering an exceptional client experience.

This is a full-time, in-person position in our Birmingham office.  We offer two shifts Monday through Friday: (1) 9:00am - 6:00pm CT; and (2) 10:00am - 7:00pm CT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary sales contact for inbound leads and inquiries.
  • Evaluate potential cases using established qualification criteria.
  • Confidently present next steps and close qualified prospects over the phone.
  • Handle a high volume of inbound calls while maintaining conversion goals.
  • Follow up with prospective clients via phone, email, chat, and text to drive sign-ups.
  • Overcome objections and build urgency to secure commitments.
  • Coordinate intake appointments with attorneys when needed.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records in the CRM system.
  • Deliver a high-quality client experience that drives satisfaction and referrals.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven sales ability with strong closing skills.
  • Comfortable working toward performance metrics and conversion goals.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management and follow-up discipline.
  • Confident, persuasive, and resilient mindset.
  • Sound judgment and professional discretion.

Education & Experience:

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, call center, customer service, or client-facing roles.
  • Experience in a high-volume inbound sales environment strongly preferred.
  • Law firm intake or legal call center experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Language:

About this role

Wettermark Keith's Intake Specialist role is the frontline sales position for a growing personal injury firm, meaning you'll be the first voice prospective clients hear after an accident. You'll evaluate inbound leads, build rapport with people in vulnerable situations, and guide qualified prospects through signing with the firm—all while managing a high call volume and hitting conversion targets. This is fundamentally a sales role that demands strong closing ability, persistence, and the judgment to know which cases fit the firm's practice.

The position suits someone with one to three years in sales, call center, or customer service work, ideally in a high-volume inbound environment. You'll need excellent communication skills across phone, email, chat, and text; comfort working toward measurable performance goals; and the resilience to handle objections and follow up systematically. Spanish fluency is preferred but not required. Prior legal intake or law firm experience is a plus but not essential if you have solid sales fundamentals.

You'll work full-time in the Birmingham office on one of two Monday–Friday shifts (9am–6pm or 10am–7pm CT). The role demands organization, multitasking, and genuine compassion—these are people contacting you during difficult moments—but it's ultimately a metrics-driven position where your success is measured by how many leads you convert into signed clients.
