About this role

Veeam's Compensation Intern role offers rising juniors and seniors a 10-week summer project within the People & Culture team focused on making compensation data and processes more accessible across the organization. You'd work alongside compensation specialists, HR partners, and business leaders to identify pain points in how the company manages pay-related information, then develop practical solutions—potentially using AI tools—to simplify and improve those systems. This is hands-on work that requires comfort with data analysis and the ability to translate complex findings into clear recommendations that teams can actually implement.

The ideal candidate has a quantitative background (Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field), strong Excel skills, and genuine curiosity about how technology can improve the employee experience. You'll need to be self-directed, comfortable asking probing questions, and able to move quickly in a fast-paced environment. Beyond the core project work, you'll participate in structured onboarding, weekly professional development sessions, and networking events designed to support your growth as you approach graduation.

The internship runs June through August 2027 and is fully remote. You'll earn $20–25 per hour, plus paid company holidays, a tech stipend, eight hours of paid volunteer time, and access to professional development programming through Veeam's internship cohort.
