About this role
Standish Management administers fund operations for private equity, venture capital, real estate, and fund-of-funds managers. This internship offers direct exposure to how these funds are managed and accounted for from the back office, working alongside Associates and Fund Controllers during summer 2027.
Your core responsibilities will center on financial data entry, record-keeping, and filing—the operational backbone of fund administration. You'll also support audit and tax teams, assist with systems conversions for new and existing clients, and help identify discrepancies in financial reports and client documents. The role demands strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under deadline pressure. Basic accounting and finance knowledge is required; QuickBooks experience is a bonus but not essential.
This internship suits someone organized and detail-oriented who wants to understand how private equity operations actually work behind the scenes. You'll gain hands-on experience with fund administration systems and processes while building foundational skills in financial operations. The position is in-office in Dallas at $23 per hour.
