About this role
Alexander Shunnarah Trial Attorneys is seeking an Associate Attorney for its Phoenix office to manage a substantial personal injury caseload—roughly 150 cases with approximately 50 in active litigation at any given time. You'll handle the full lifecycle of cases from intake through settlement or trial, conduct depositions and mediations, draft motions, and serve as lead counsel in jury trials. The role demands strong trial advocacy skills, excellent client communication, and the ability to develop sound case strategy under a high-volume practice model.
The firm provides meaningful structural support to make this workload manageable: you'll have dedicated office space, at least one case manager and one paralegal assigned to your cases, and access to proprietary AI software for demand letters and an in-house medical records company that accelerates document retrieval. The firm covers all case expenses, removing that financial burden from your practice. This is positioned as an early-career opportunity with a base salary in the $80,000–$100,000 range, though the posting notes that attorneys at the firm typically earn $150,000–$350,000 as they develop their practice.
You must be licensed to practice law and in good standing with the Arizona State Bar; trial advocacy or moot court experience is strongly preferred. Multiple state bar admissions are a plus. This is a full-time, in-office role in Phoenix.
