About this role
CLEAR is seeking a Solutions Engineer II to bridge the gap between its identity platform and healthcare customers navigating integration and deployment. You'll own the technical side of the customer journey—from presales discovery and demos through proof-of-concept and go-live—while collaborating with Sales, Product, and Engineering to ensure healthcare organizations can successfully adopt CLEAR's solutions. This role demands someone who can code, consult, and communicate across audiences, translating complex platform capabilities into concrete value for enterprise health systems.
The ideal candidate brings 3+ years in solutions engineering or sales engineering, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in health systems or healthtech. You'll need solid full-stack development skills, a working knowledge of APIs and modern application architecture, and the ability to write code samples and build reference implementations that accelerate customer time-to-value. Beyond technical chops, you should be comfortable distilling technical details for non-technical stakeholders and acting as an industry expert who can spot opportunities and feed customer feedback back into CLEAR's product roadmap.
Success here is measured by your ability to influence presales wins, drive smooth implementations, and become a trusted advisor to both internal teams and external clients. The role is based in New York City and requires in-office presence. Compensation ranges from $130,000 to $160,000 base, plus benefits including comprehensive healthcare, wellness stipends, OneMedical memberships, and equity consideration.
