About this role
FanDuel's Predicts Business Manager role sits at the intersection of strategy, product development, and commercial execution for a new betting product line. You'd report directly to the Commercial Senior Director and work across product, marketing, operations, and finance teams to build go-to-market strategies, analyze competitive and consumer data, and shepherd strategic initiatives from planning through launch. The work spans market research and insights, sport-specific campaign strategy, cross-functional project management, and mentoring junior commercial staff—making it as much about collaboration and stakeholder management as analytical rigor.
The ideal candidate brings five-plus years in strategy, consulting, or commercial roles, with demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable recommendations for senior audiences. Strong Excel modeling and data visualization skills are essential; SQL and Tableau proficiency, plus comfort using LLMs for research and analysis, are preferred. Prior experience in gaming, prediction markets, or sports tech is a plus, though the job description emphasizes that genuine interest in sports and technology—paired with the ability to learn quickly—matters more than deep domain expertise.
This is an in-office role based in New York City with a salary range of $112,000 to $140,000. The position offers standard corporate benefits including multiple health plan options, PTO, annual bonus and long-term incentive opportunities, 401(k) matching up to 5%, and commuter benefits.
