About this role
Upstream Rehabilitation's BenchMark Physical Therapy brand is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to work as a floater across multiple outpatient clinics in the Eastern Louisville area. Rather than anchoring to a single location, you'd move between clinics to cover vacations, leaves, and patient volume spikes, treating a varied caseload of orthopedic, sports medicine, post-surgical, and chronic pain patients. The role emphasizes evidence-based care, patient education, and functional outcomes—with the flexibility that appeals to clinicians who thrive on variety and adaptability across different team environments.
This position suits a PT comfortable with autonomy and transitions who wants exposure to diverse patient populations and clinic cultures without the constraints of a fixed schedule. You'll develop and adjust treatment plans, maintain EMR documentation, and collaborate with established clinic teams to ensure continuity of care. Compensation ranges from $78,000 to $95,000 annually, with a sign-on bonus up to $10,000, mileage reimbursement, and a floater bonus structure.
Upstream backs clinical development with $1,500 annual CE dollars, unlimited MedBridge access, partnerships for manual therapy and pelvic health training, and mentorship pathways. The broader organization operates over 1,200 clinics nationwide and offers clinicians options ranging from ownership tracks to leadership roles, so this floater role can serve as an entry point into a larger network with genuine advancement potential.
