About this role
Element Biosciences is looking for someone to build and maintain the operational infrastructure that keeps their Service & Support organization running as the company scales. You'd own the meeting cadences, demand intake processes, and cross-functional programs that connect Technical Support, Customer Support Specialists, Field Application Scientists, and Field Service Engineers. This means managing everything from sprint release updates and monthly all-hands meetings to Salesforce and Jira workflows, coordinating system changes and UAT, and ensuring the Service Playbook stays current as processes evolve.
The role requires 3–5+ years in service operations, program management, or commercial operations, with hands-on Salesforce and ticketing system experience. You'll need strong meeting facilitation and program management skills, comfort creating executive-ready materials, and the ability to translate field requirements into prioritized system improvements. Life sciences or medical device instrumentation background is a plus, as is experience with field service organizations or onboarding processes.
Based in San Diego and fully onsite, this position reports to the Manager, Customer Service and Operations and involves up to 10% travel. The salary range is $97,000–$118,000, plus stock options, discretionary bonus, health insurance, 401(k) match, and flexible PTO. The role may occasionally require support during non-regular business hours.
