About this role
Working in federal government support, you'd handle the operational backbone of military travel—managing Government Travel Charge Card processes, reviewing authorization forms, and troubleshooting travel vouchers and approvals within the Defense Travel System. This is hands-on customer support work where accuracy and compliance matter; you'll resolve travel inquiries, process GTCC check-ins and credit adjustments, and ensure DTS routing flows correctly through the approval chain.
The role suits someone with at least two years of DTS help desk experience who can self-teach new systems and communicate clearly under pressure. You'll need an associate degree, intermediate Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance—a DoD Secret Clearance is preferred. Background in Navy finance, accounting, or DoD acquisition processes would strengthen your candidacy, though not required.
Ignite Digital offers this as a full-time contract position in San Diego with a structured schedule: 9-hour days Monday through Thursday, 8 hours Friday, with every other Friday off.
