About this role

Omaha Orthodontics, part of Specialty Dental Brands, is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to join a team of four experienced orthodontists. You'd be working in a fast-paced clinical environment where patient education and chairside support are central to the role. Day-to-day responsibilities include taking radiographs and intraoral photographs, assisting with orthodontic procedures, performing iTero intraoral scanning, sterilization maintenance, and communicating with patients and families in a professional manner.

The ideal candidate has dental field experience and strong manual dexterity, though formal orthodontic assisting credentials are preferred rather than required. You'll need excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with the clinical team, and a commitment to patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. The practice values people who are enthusiastic, friendly, and willing to learn new techniques in what they describe as a "work hard, play hard" culture.

Omaha Orthodontics offers competitive wages, paid holidays and vacation, uniforms, health and vision insurance, dental coverage, a 401(k) plan, and an incentive program. The practice has been operating since 2012 with a stated mission to be a positive influence on patients, staff, and community.
