About this role
Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a hands-on Service Center Manager for its Charlotte facility—a role that sits at the intersection of operational leadership, safety stewardship, and financial accountability. You'd oversee daily facility operations while championing a safety-first culture, driving Lean Manufacturing initiatives, and managing the P&L to ensure the center runs lean and profitable. This is a visible leadership position where you'll spend time on the floor coaching teams, setting performance standards, and building accountability into how work gets done.
The ideal candidate brings at least five years of relevant industry experience with a track record of managing people through operational change. You'll need strong financial literacy to own budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, paired with clear communication skills that work across all organizational levels. A bachelor's degree in management or related field is preferred, though equivalent experience is considered. If you've driven measurable safety and efficiency gains, owned facility-level results, and thrive in fast-paced environments where continuous improvement is expected, this role offers the chance to shape both culture and outcomes at a significant scale.
The position is full-time and based in Charlotte, with a salary range of $95,000 to $115,000. OBE offers competitive benefits, PTO with floating holidays, and a pay-for-performance culture with potential for annual raises and bonuses.
