About this role
Lyft Business is looking for an Account Manager to own a portfolio of automotive dealership clients and drive retention and revenue growth post-sale. You'd be the primary relationship builder for these accounts, running quarterly business reviews, identifying expansion opportunities, and using data tools like Salesforce and Tableau to forecast and track performance against quarterly targets. The role involves significant client interaction—phone calls, in-person visits (up to 20% travel), and trade show representation—so strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
This position suits someone with at least two years of B2B account management or customer success experience, ideally with a track record of hitting retention or growth numbers. You should be comfortable with CRM platforms and modern sales tools, and you'll need to demonstrate the ability to identify risk and opportunity through usage data, handle objections, and guide clients through onboarding, adoption, and upsell cycles. Prior experience in SaaS, ad-tech, transportation, or the auto industry is a plus, but what matters most is your competitive drive and ability to own the full post-sale lifecycle.
The role is based in San Francisco with a hybrid schedule requiring three days in-office (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays). Compensation ranges from $60,800 to $76,000 base, plus potential equity. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage, mental health and family-building support, 401(k) matching, 18 weeks of paid parental leave, and Lyft credits.
