About this role

EMIT Technologies is hiring a Brake Operator to run press brake equipment in their Sheridan manufacturing facility. You'll execute daily production schedules, ensure finished parts meet quality standards, manage work orders and labeling, and keep your equipment and workspace organized and safe. The role requires you to track production status in OSEON, communicate any quality or equipment issues, and follow established operating procedures while maintaining a clean, hazard-free environment.

The position suits someone with a high school diploma or equivalent who can read blueprints and work orders, use basic measurement tools like calipers and gauges, and work independently in a fast-paced setting. While prior press brake experience is preferred, the company will train candidates with little to no machine operating background who demonstrate strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the willingness to learn. You'll need to reliably lift 50–75 lbs., stand and move throughout your shift, and consistently follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.

This is a full-time, in-office role paying $18–$28 per hour. It's a good fit if you're dependable, quality-focused, and interested in developing manufacturing skills within a stable company.
