About this role

Jonsson Workwear's Demand Planner role sits at the intersection of forecasting, operations, and customer service. You'll use data analysis and commercial judgment to predict inventory needs across store locations, ensuring that workwear stock meets customer demand consistently. The position requires you to balance attention to detail with strategic thinking—spotting patterns in data while understanding how broader business initiatives like marketing campaigns and product launches affect what stores need to hold.

Success in this role depends on your ability to work across teams. You'll coordinate regularly with Operations and store staff to translate forecasts into actionable stock decisions, communicate clearly about inventory levels, and solve problems as they arise. The company values self-motivation and initiative, so you should be comfortable identifying inefficiencies in current processes and proposing improvements. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Durban.

The role suits someone with strong analytical skills, sound decision-making instincts, and genuine interest in how supply chain decisions affect the customer experience. If you're a natural problem solver who enjoys working cross-functionally and can balance competing priorities, this could be a good fit.
