Responsibilities:

The UK Summer Internship programme runs from 21st June 2027 to 27th August 2027 in our London Office and is designed for penultimate-year students with a desire to pursue a career in M&A advisory, Capital Advisory Group (CAG) or Private Fund Advisory (PFA) services. This program offers hands-on experience and valuable exposure to high-level financial advisory work, providing interns with the opportunity to develop key skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Summer Interns will begin with a week of comprehensive training, providing you with the resources and guidance to contribute to live M&A projects from the start. You’ll then join a team working on real projects, where you’ll have the chance to be involved in all aspects of an M&A transaction. You’ll be supported throughout by your team and a dedicated ‘buddy’ to help you navigate your role.

Key responsibilities include:

Performing financial analysis and assisting with valuations
Contributing to industry research
Assisting in the preparation of confidential information memoranda and management presentations

Supporting senior bankers with business development and meeting preparation
Participating in the due diligence and closing process
Developing a solid understanding of M&A processes

Qualifications:

Must be a penultimate year student enrolled in full-time study, with an anticipated graduation date of Spring/Summer 2028.
Exceptional academic record
A clear interest in building a career in Financial Services
Knowledge of accounting and finance, along with business understanding
Confidence with numbers and the ability to analyse data effectively.
Strong English writing, verbal communication and computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Successful interns are assertive and self-motivated, can manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment and are detail oriented
Prior experience in M&A, capital raising, or investment banking is helpful but not essential
