About this role

Donut Studios, the creative studio arm of New Engen, is looking for a Senior People Partner to build and scale their people strategy as the organization grows. You'd work remotely from Seattle, supporting a collaborative team across a dynamic, matrixed agency environment. This role sits at the intersection of strategic HR and hands-on employee partnership—you'll collaborate with senior leaders on org design and workforce planning, guide managers through performance conversations and development, and serve as the go-to for employee relations issues grounded in fairness and compliance.

The work spans the full people lifecycle: identifying and developing high-potential talent, embedding DEIB into team culture, using data to spot trends and inform decisions, and helping shape policies that keep the organization equitable and consistent as it scales. You'll also partner on compensation strategy to ensure competitiveness in the market. This is a generalist role that rewards both strategic thinking and genuine relationship-building skills—you need to influence at all levels, navigate conflict with confidence, and know how to tell stories with data.

You'll need at least five years of HR experience, with at least one year in a strategic People Partner or HRBP capacity. Agency or client services background is a plus. A bachelor's degree is required; HR certifications like SHRM-CP or PHR strengthen your candidacy. The salary range is $85,000–$100,000, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k match, HSA contributions, flexible PTO, and paid parental leave.
