About this role
Syska Hennessy Group is hiring an Electrical Engineer I in Charlotte to join their Engineering Development Program—a structured mentorship track designed to accelerate early-career growth. You'll work on real projects across MEP systems, architectural lighting, and vertical transportation, starting with CAD and BIM drafting under senior engineers' guidance, then progressing to design support, field investigations, and coordination across trades. The role balances learning from experienced mentors with taking ownership of your own work quality and timelines.

You should have proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office, with REVIT and EIT/FE certification as advantages; prior internship experience is preferred. Syska's EDT program emphasizes both technical expertise and business acumen through structured seminars and one-on-one mentoring relationships.
The compensation ranges from $58,950 to $97,733, with benefits including comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, professional development support, half-day work-from-home Fridays, and transit stipends.
