About this role
Noble Anesthesia Partners' AAC Southwest division operates office-based anesthesia services across the Dallas-Fort Worth area, supporting physicians, surgeons, and dentists who perform procedures in their offices. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you would work three days per week during standard business hours—Monday through Friday with no evenings, weekends, or holiday shifts—traveling between clinical sites to support the anesthesia team.
Your responsibilities would center on patient preparation and monitoring: starting peripheral IVs on adult and pediatric patients, gathering and documenting pre-operative vitals and screening information, observing patients before and after procedures, and alerting the anesthesia provider to any changes in condition. You'd also help with emergency response protocols and ensure rooms are properly set up and supplied between cases. This role demands strong clinical fundamentals, particularly in IV placement and patient assessment, along with the ability to work collaboratively within a small team environment where patient safety and client satisfaction are stated priorities.
The position requires five years of LVN experience in acute care or a comparable setting, comfort working with both pediatric and adult populations, active BLS certification at hire, and ACLS certification within six months. You'll need strong communication skills and fluency with medical terminology. Compensation is competitive based on experience, with benefits available.
