Senior Associate – Business Finance
About the Role
We are looking for a sharp and proactive Senior Associate – Business Finance to join the Business Finance team, supporting revenue operations, planning cycles, and commercial decision-making for the unit. This is a high-exposure role suited for someone who wants to build a strong foundation in commercial finance within a fast-paced ad-tech environment — while also leveraging AI tools and automation to work smarter and drive better decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Finance & Partnering
- Act as a trusted finance partner for the business, working closely with product, revenue, and operations teams.
- Support planning cycles — prepare monthly accruals, maintain revenue files, and build/update revenue and cost forecasts.
- Analyze financial trends, identify variances, and recommend actionable interventions.
Commercial & Deal Support
- Review cost and revenue contracts to identify key commercial terms, flag risks, and suggest improvements.
- Evaluate deal structures — prepare deal-level P&L templates, run scenario analyses, and check adherence to pricing/margin guidelines.
- Own periodic reconciliations between records, contracts, and actuals.
AI & Process Improvement
- Use AI assistants (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) to automate reporting, validate data, and build BI dashboards (Power BI/Tableau) for real-time KPI visibility.
- Identify manual finance workflows and automate using no-code/low-code tools (e.g., Power Automate).
- Support annual planning with data packs, models, and market research; document workflows for scale.
What We're Looking For
- CA qualified, or MBA (Finance) from a reputed Tier 1 institute.
- 2–3 years of experience in Business Finance, FP&A, or commercial finance.
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills; comfort with large datasets.
- Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and AI assistants (ChatGPT, Copilot, Notion AI); exposure to SAP/Oracle/Anaplan or SQL is a plus.
- Sharp analytical thinking with strong attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication — able to summarize findings crisply.
- Proactive, curious, and comfortable operating in ambiguity.

About this role

The role balances traditional finance work—monthly accruals, forecasting, variance analysis, and contract review—with a modern emphasis on automation and data tools, giving you space to use AI assistants and build dashboards that drive real-time visibility into KPIs.
This is a high-exposure position suited for someone with 2–3 years of business finance, FP&A, or commercial finance experience who combines strong Excel and financial modeling skills with comfort using BI platforms and AI tools. A CA qualification or MBA in Finance from a Tier 1 institute is expected. You should be analytically sharp, detail-oriented, and able to communicate findings clearly to non-finance stakeholders. The role rewards proactive thinking and curiosity—you'll identify manual workflows ripe for automation, support annual planning cycles with robust models, and help scale finance processes as the business grows.
