Description
Who we are
About Stripe
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world's largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About the team
The Procurement team provides services to the businesses that are the backbone for Stripe. Stripe's newly revamped broader Procurement organization consists of Third Party Risk, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Deal Management, Procurement Enablement, AP and T&E.
To facilitate supplier deals with Strategic Sourcing and the business, we created a new Supplier Deal Management (SDM) team in 2022.
This instrumental function builds an efficient supplier contracting process, reduces friction for business leaders, works in partnership with TPRM and Legal to minimize risk, and increases the velocity at which Stripe can engage key suppliers.
SDM's mission is to drive agreements efficiently via appropriate channels, bringing structure to the overall contracting process in partnership with stakeholders while providing a customized and guided user experience and effectively managing value and risk for Stripe.
What you'll do
We're looking for a Supplier Deal Management Specialist to join our growing team. This individual will help us improve the user experience by processing and reviewing supplier contracting requests according to the following steps:

- Partner with the business on commercial negotiations where applicable
- Customer Service—Provide a DRI first, guided experience for all transactions
- Keep a close eye on productivity and communication with DRIs using our Zip procurement tool
The individual will also conduct ad hoc tasks relating to contracts as applicable—such as lookups, research for stakeholders and other procurement teams, and systems reconciliation.

About this role
Stripe's newly formed Supplier Deal Management team is building the operational backbone for how the company engages with third-party vendors. As a Contracting Operations Specialist in Bengaluru, you'd own the end-to-end contract lifecycle—from initial intake and FAQ support through legal review preparation, commercial negotiation partnership, and final execution. You'd work directly with internal stakeholders across Legal, Finance, Security, and business leadership to move agreements efficiently through Stripe's contracting process while managing risk and maintaining visibility in their Agiloft system.
The role demands someone with 4–5 years of hands-on contract lifecycle management experience and a law degree or equivalent background. You'll need strong analytical skills to review commercial and legal language, solve stakeholder problems, and identify process improvements. Beyond technical competence, this is a role for someone operationally minded—someone who can earn trust quickly across multiple teams, work independently on complex decisions, and push for efficiency and continuous improvement. Experience in fintech is a plus, as is comfort with ambiguity and a builder's mindset suited to establishing new systems at a growing company.
This is a contract position based in-office in Bengaluru, joining a team at an early stage of scaling. If you thrive on process improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and the detail work of contract management, this could be a strong fit.
