Ohme is on a mission to accelerate the global transition to clean, affordable energy. We do that by serving as an integrated hardware and software smart-grid platform, focused on the residential EV charging market.

Are you a talented and driven Recent Graduate looking to make a significant impact? We are seeking a passionate individual to join our dynamic Data department.

As a Graduate Data Product Engineer, you will be a key player in our data team, collaborating closely with data analysts, fellow data engineers and product stakeholders. Your role will involve developing our cutting-edge data products for both internal and external use.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate: Work with data engineers, software engineers, and product stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Design & Develop: Create and maintain scalable data pipelines, data architectures and data services (APIs) on AWS.
  • Automate: Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, especially AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK), to automate the deployment and management of data infrastructure.
  • Innovate: Contribute to the development of Ohme’s data products that are central to our proposition.
  • Optimize: Monitor and optimize the performance of data systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Ensure Quality: Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.

About You:

  • You have a technical degree and some background in data / software engineering, either through work experience or your own projects.
  • You appreciate the importance of software engineering best practices like IaC, testing, environment separation, and agile methodologies.
  • You are comfortable working with Python, Git and cloud providers like AWS.
  • You are motivated by solving real data challenges at scale; you have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and a great engineering mindset.
  • Knowledge and interest in the EV / CleanTech industry is a plus.
