We are looking for an innovative and driven Software Engineer (C++, Linux) who shares our vision in quality and commits to building outstanding products. Our products combine in-house developed hardware with bare metal firmware, a rich embedded Linux environment and multiple user-facing frontend applications to provide the best user experience to our customers.

Your area of responsibility

  • Be part of our core team working on our applications (written in C++17, 20, 23) running on a custom Linux distribution powering our charging systems
  • Execute projects in close collaboration with our partners
  • Implementing maintainable, reliable software and tests
  • Measuring performance, detecting regressions
  • Help modernize our codebase
  • Code reviews

 Our core technologies

  • C++17/20/23 on Linux
  • IPC (D-Bus, MQTT, plain files)
  • Embedded Linux (buildroot, arm64)
  • Distributed systems
  • Bare metal firmware (C, ARM Cortex-M)

It would be great if you have

  • At least 5 years of C++ development experience
  • High level of proficiency with asynchronous C++ code
  • Experience with application-bound databases (SQLite)
  • Ability to research problems and propose robust solutions
  • Ability to mentor colleagues and participate in knowledge transfer
  • Good (remote) debugging skills
  • Experience with Linux shell scripting and command line utilities
  • Experience with version control, continuous integration and test development

It would be even better if you have

  • Experience with buildroot
  • Experience with C development in (embedded) Linux
  • Awareness of low-level vulnerabilities and their remote exploitation
  • Experience interfacing with hardware in embedded systems from Linux
  • Experience with ISO15118 PLC communication
